Settings — Reservations & Table Management
Feature Overview
Reservations & Table Management is where you fine-tune how your reservation system operates — from how long each table turn is expected to last, to the rules governing how reservations are spaced and accepted. It also gives you the embed code needed to place a live reservation booking widget on your restaurant's own website, letting guests book directly without leaving your page.
How It Affects the System
- Table Management Settings define the expected turn time per table size or cover count. These turn times are used in the Reservations Grid view to visually indicate when a table should become available, and they influence how many covers the system will allow to be booked in a given time window.
- Reservation Settings govern the core behavior of the booking system: minimum party size, maximum party size, how far in advance guests can book, and how late a same-day reservation can be requested. These rules are enforced in both the dashboard and the guest-facing booking widget.
- Checkout Settings for reservations can include optional deposit or special notes requirements for online bookings.
- The Reservation Embed Code section provides a ready-to-use HTML snippet that embeds a live booking widget on your website. Guests who book through the widget are automatically added to your Reservations list in the dashboard.
- Settings here are scoped per Revenue Center — use the Revenue Center tabs at the top to configure each section separately.
Prerequisites / Requirements
- Restaurant edit or view permissions are required.
- At least one Revenue Center must be configured.
- For the embed widget, you need the ability to edit your restaurant's website HTML.

- Booking window — how many days in advance guests can book online
- Same-day cutoff — how many minutes before a time slot closes off for same-day bookings
- Changes save automatically.
Getting the Website Embed Code

- The embed code snippet is displayed in a bordered code box.
- Click to select the entire code, then copy it.

Common Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: Guests are booking more covers than we can accommodate in a time slot. Adjust the maximum party size and review your turn time settings in Table Management Settings. If turn times are too short, the system may be allowing back-to-back bookings for the same tables too quickly. Increasing turn times gives the system a more accurate picture of table availability.
Q: The reservation widget on our website is not showing available times. First, verify that Hours of Operation are correctly configured for the selected Revenue Center under Settings > Hours of Operation. The widget only shows time slots that fall within your active reservation hours. Also confirm the embed code on your website is the most current version from Settings > Reservations & Table Management.
