Navigating Dates

Feature Overview

The Takeout page uses the same date navigation strip as Reservations, allowing staff to move between days and view upcoming, current, or past orders. A full-month toggle provides a higher-level view of your order volume across the month.

Prerequisites / Requirements

• You must be on the Takeout page with the appropriate permissions.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. On the Takeout page, locate the week strip at the top of the page. Each day of the current week is shown as a clickable button.
2. Click any day in the week strip to view that day's orders.
3. Click the left arrow to navigate to the previous week, or the right arrow to move to the next week.
4. To view a full month of orders, click the month toggle button in the control bar. The week strip is replaced by a monthly calendar showing order activity per day.
5. Click any date on the monthly calendar to jump to that day's order list.
6. Click the toggle button again to return to the week strip view.

Common Troubleshooting / FAQs

Q: I navigated to a different date but the order list did not update. After clicking a date in the week strip or calendar, the list should refresh automatically. If it does not, try refreshing the page and navigating to the date again.

Q: The week strip shows today's date as highlighted but the list shows old orders. The order list reflects only orders placed for the selected date. If old orders appear, the date filter may still be set to a previous day. Click today's date in the week strip to reset the view.
