Accounting Reports
Feature Overview
The Accounting category provides reports that bridge your Katalyst sales and payroll data with your accounting system. These reports help your bookkeeper or accountant reconcile daily sales and prepare journal entries without manually compiling data from multiple sources.
Prerequisites / Requirements
- Your account must have Reports view or edit permissions.
- For General Ledger Journal Entries, GL account code mappings must be configured in Settings > General Ledger Journal Entries before the entries will be meaningful for import into your accounting software.

Common Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: My General Ledger Journal Entries export does not match my accounting system's chart of accounts. Verify that the account code mappings in Settings > General Ledger Journal Entries exactly match the codes in your accounting software, including any leading zeros or alphanumeric formatting. Contact your accountant if you are unsure of the correct codes.
Q: The iSiD Report is showing data I don't recognize. The iSiD Report consolidates multiple data points from your restaurant's sales activity. If you see unfamiliar entries, cross-reference them with the Sales Report for the same date range to identify the source. Contact Katalyst support if discrepancies persist.
