Editing a Catering Order
Feature Overview
Catering orders often evolve as event details change — guests may add items, adjust quantities, change the event date, or update contact information. Staff with edit permissions can update any aspect of a catering order directly from the order detail page.
Prerequisites / Requirements

- Customer notes — add or update special requirements or event details
- Click Save to apply your changes.
- The order detail page will reload reflecting the updated information.
Common Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: I saved changes but the order still shows the old information when I return to it. Refresh the order detail page to load the latest saved data. If the old information persists after a refresh, verify that the Save button was clicked — unsaved changes are discarded if you navigate away without saving.
Q: I do not see an Edit option on the order detail page. Your account may only have Catering view permission. Contact your restaurant manager to request edit access if needed.
