Browsing Customer Reviews
Feature Overview
Below the Rating Summary, the Customer Reviews section displays individual feedback cards — one per guest — allowing managers to read specific comments, identify trends in the feedback, and respond directly to guest experiences. The list loads the most recent reviews first and can be extended to see older feedback.
Prerequisites / Requirements
- Your account must have Reviews view or edit permissions.
- At least one guest must have submitted a survey with written feedback.
Step-by-Step Guide
- On the Reviews page, scroll past the Rating Summary panel to reach the Customer Reviews section.
- Each card in the list represents one guest's feedback. Cards display:
- The guest's name (or "Anonymous" if no account was linked)
- Their star rating
- Any written comments they submitted
- The date the review was submitted
- Scroll through the list to read individual reviews.
- When you reach the bottom of the initially loaded list, click Load more to display older reviews.
Common Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: Reviews show as "Anonymous" instead of showing a guest name. Reviews submitted by guests who did not check out with a registered Katalyst account will not have a name associated. The rating and comments are still recorded, but no guest identification is available.
Q: Some review cards show a rating but no written comments. Not all survey questions require written input — some may be rating-only (star scale). A card without written comments means the guest did not leave a text response, only a numeric rating.
