Accessing the Staff Page

Feature Overview

The Staff page is your restaurant's employee roster within Katalyst. It gives managers and owners a complete view of all team members on file — including their names, job assignments, and contact details. Every action related to managing your team starts here.

Prerequisites / Requirements

• Your account must have either Staff edit permissions or Full GEM access to view and manage the Staff page.
• Job classes (roles) must be configured in Settings > Permissions before employees can be assigned to roles.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. In the left-hand navigation sidebar, click Staff.
2. The Staff page opens, displaying your full employee roster.
3. Each row in the roster represents one employee, showing their name, assigned job class, and other key details.

Common Troubleshooting / FAQs

Q: Staff is not visible in my sidebar navigation. Access to the Staff page requires either Staff edit permissions or Full GEM access. Contact your restaurant manager or owner to have the appropriate permissions added to your account.

Q: The staff list appears empty even though employees have been added. Confirm that you are viewing the correct restaurant location if your account manages multiple locations. Also try refreshing the page — a slow connection may have prevented the roster from loading on the first attempt.
