Filtering by Date Range
Feature Overview
The date range filter on the Snapshot Dashboard allows you to change the time period reflected in all your widgets at once. Instead of viewing only today's data, you can look back at any past period — a previous week, month, or custom range — to compare performance or review historical trends without leaving the dashboard.
Prerequisites / Requirements
- You must be on the Snapshot Dashboard with at least one widget configured.
- Your account must have Reports view or edit permissions.
Step-by-Step Guide
- On the Snapshot Dashboard, locate the date range picker in the filter bar near the top of the page. It appears as two date input fields side by side.
- Click the start date field (the left field) and select the beginning date of the range you want to view from the calendar picker.
- Click the end date field (the right field) and select the end date for your range.
- Click the RUN REPORT button to apply the filter.
- All widgets on the dashboard will refresh and display data for the selected date range.
Common Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: I clicked RUN REPORT but the widgets did not update. Make sure both a start date and an end date are filled in. If only one date field is populated, the filter will not apply. Re-select both dates and click RUN REPORT again.
Q: The date range I selected shows data from a different period than I expected. Double-check that both the start and end dates are correct — the calendar picker defaults to the current month, so it is easy to accidentally select the wrong year or month. Re-open the date picker and verify each date before running the report.
