DigiSigns — Digital Signage

Feature Overview

The DigiSigns section integrates Katalyst with the DigiSigns digital signage platform, giving you a built-in editor to create and manage dynamic digital displays for your restaurant — such as menu boards, promotional screens, or customer-facing messaging. The editor loads directly inside your Katalyst dashboard, so you don't need to leave the platform to manage your in-restaurant screens.

Prerequisites / Requirements

  • Your restaurant must have a DigiSigns account connected to Katalyst. Contact Katalyst support to enable the DigiSigns integration for your restaurant.
  • If DigiSigns is not configured, navigating to this page will redirect you back to your Snapshot Dashboard automatically.

Step-by-Step Guide

Accessing DigiSigns

  1. In the left-hand navigation sidebar, click DigiSigns.
  2. If DigiSigns is connected to your account, the DigiSigns editor will load directly inside the Katalyst dashboard.
  3. The full DigiSigns interface will be available within the editor panel, including tools to create, edit, and publish digital signs.

Using the DigiSigns Editor

  1. Once the editor loads, use the DigiSigns tools to:
    • Create new sign layouts
    • Add text, images, and media to your displays
    • Preview how your signs will appear on screen
    • Publish changes to your connected display devices
  2. All changes made inside the editor are saved and managed through DigiSigns directly.

Common Troubleshooting / FAQs

Q: Clicking DigiSigns redirects me back to the Snapshot Dashboard instead of opening the editor. This means the DigiSigns integration is not yet enabled for your restaurant. Contact Katalyst support to enable the DigiSigns integration for your restaurant.

Q: My changes in the editor are not showing up on my screen displays. After publishing your changes, the display devices may need a moment to sync. Ensure the devices showing your digital signs are powered on and connected to the internet. If updates still do not appear after a few minutes, log in to your DigiSigns account directly to check the device connection status.
